What is Reflex effects (reflexos)?
Also: reflexos · incidências · reflex effects
Reflex effects are the incidence of a habitual award onto others. Overtime, the night premium and habitual commissions reflect onto weekly rest, vacation + 1/3, the 13th, prior notice and the severance fund. That is why a principal award granted “drags” a set of reflex effects with it.
The common error is to count the reflex twice or to add it as a standalone award — inflating the exposure.
Observed grant pattern: about 79% of merits decisions on reflex effects (base: real Labor Court cases) — high because they follow the principal award.
How LABORIS AI uses it
LABORIS AI treats the reflex as derived from the principal award, avoiding double-counting and adjusting the real exposure.
